Here’s a recording of my monthly political briefing and discussion which took place live earlier today. It came at the end of what has been a very busy week of politics!
My opening remarks last about 20 minutes and the rest is a fun and lively Q and A. There’s a lot of new material and analysis in this briefing, incorporating some of the many things that have happened just in the last few weeks - strong jobs numbers, inflation coming down, the central GOP narrative about Biden running out of gas, continued coalition success in Ukraine, Trump’s mounting legal troubles, DeSantis’ ongoing awfulness. Lot’s of stuff!
So, what’s my basic take?
Joe Biden has been a good President. The country is better off. The Democratic Party is strong. And in every way possible I would much rather be us than them.
